Description

Crispy, golden hash browns made effortlessly in your air fryer. This healthier method uses minimal oil, delivers maximum crunch, and is perfect for breakfast, meal prep, or a light side dish.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups shredded russet potatoes (or frozen hash browns)

1 tablespoon olive oil spray

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and black pepper to taste

Optional: 1 egg and 1 tablespoon almond flour (for homemade patties)

Instructions

  1. Rinse and dry shredded potatoes thoroughly if using fresh.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
  3. Toss hash browns with olive oil and seasonings.
  4. Spread them in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. For frozen patties, cook for 14 to 16 minutes.
  7. Let them rest for 1 minute after cooking to crisp further.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite toppings or dips.

Notes

Do not overcrowd the basket.

You can use sweet potatoes or add chopped onions or herbs.

For meal prep, freeze cooked patties and reheat in the air fryer later.
