Ingredients
- 4 center-cut salmon fillets (skinless)
- 2 tablespoons pomegranate molasses
- 1½ teaspoons sweet chili sauce
- 1½ teaspoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 garlic clove, grated
- 2 teaspoons honey
- Juice of 1 lime
- Kosher salt and black pepper, to taste
- ½ cup pomegranate arils
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small serrano pepper, seeded and minced (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix pomegranate molasses, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, garlic, 1 tsp honey, half the lime juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Brush glaze generously over the salmon fillets. Season with more salt and pepper.
- Place salmon in the air fryer basket with space between each piece.
- Air fry at 400°F for 6 to 7 minutes until caramelized and flaky.
- While cooking, mix pomegranate arils, cilantro, olive oil, serrano (optional), remaining lime juice, and honey.
- Remove salmon from air fryer. Rest for 2 minutes, then top with pomegranate relish. Serve warm.
Notes
No need to flip the salmon in the air fryer.
For medium doneness, aim for 6 minutes. For firmer salmon, go up to 8 minutes.
Resting allows juices to redistribute, improving texture.
